The standard stand switch installed by KTM/Husqvarna is a safety device designed to ensure stand is up before you ride away. The switches fail and leave riders stranded in far from home. This dongle is designed to bypass the failed switch, by simply plugging it into the stand switch plug. This dongle can be carried as it is only slightly larger than a 20 cent piece. Easy install is stand switch fails just plug it in, and make sure the stand is up.

These dongles replace the factory sensor. You can locate your sidestand sensor behind the sidestand pivot point. Trace the wire from sensor upward until you get to the connector (typically located around throttle body area). With ignition off, unplug the sensor and plug in the correct dongle.

It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the stand is in the up position before riding away when the dongle is in use. This component is not designed to be permanently installed as it bypasses a safety device.
